Under his real name, Istrate Sebastian-Ionut, IST is a 25-year-old young man who has managed to become known for his super energetic sets. Born in Timișoara, Romania, IST is one of the most promising DJs and producers on the EDM scene. At the beginning of 2018, IST began his collaboration with ESD, a partnership that would help propel him even further in his career. Starting in 2019, IST takes the main stage in music, debuting at the “Magnetic Festival”, and then in the same year in August, he appears on the “Flight Festival” stage.
His rise on the electronic music scene continued in 2021 when he won a spot on the “TRAM STAGE” at the UNTOLD festival. IST makes his presence felt with his energy-filled music on the “FORM STAGE” also in 2022, and in 2023 he once again participates in the “Magnetic Festival”, followed by “VestFest” under the concept “Timișoara-European Cultural Capital”, then he appears again on the “Form Stage”, and later on the “Coca Cola Stage” at the “UNTOLD” festival.
