The band Melting Dice was formed in Timișoara in the fall of 2014, initially consisting of 4 members: Flavius Vutan (guitar), Sorin Ghiniță (drums), Dani Șimon (bass), and Bogdan Cotîrță (guitar and vocals).
The year 2015 marked the band’s first festivals and their own concerts, and in the spring of 2016, they released their first music video for the song “Inert”. In 2017, the band released their first album: Cord Cablu Creier, and in 2020 they released their second discographic material, the EP “Mat deschis”.
Also in 2020, Dani Șimon’s place as the bassist was taken over by Adolf Vegh, and Flavius Vutan left the band. In 2021, the band operated as a trio, and in 2022 they returned to a quartet formation, the current lineup being Bogdan Cotirta (vocals and guitar), Sorin Ghinita (drums), Alfred Paros (bass), and Cristi Paros (keyboard). The band’s genre is alternative rock.
