Under his real name, Zoltan Varga, Zoleevee developed a passion for music even before the 1989 Revolution when Kashtan tape recorders or deck cassette players were in vogue. Starting in 1996, this passion translated into a DJ career at Timișoara’s first private radio, Radio Vest, where he hosted themed programs and more. From 1999, he embraced the role of music editor for various local publications and beyond. Music has numerous facets, so in 2010 Zoltan Varga started the music review blog DeAscultat. Over the years, Zoleevee has been invited to mix at several festivals and in numerous clubs. Given the diversity of musical styles that make up Zoleevee’s “mélange”, his sets cover a plethora of trends from both modern times and the “retro” era. That’s because whether it’s rock or synth-pop, electronic body music, punk, reggae, or disco, drum and bass, or melodic techno, music is magical. So, expect a healthy blend of cool tunes.
